Corset belt made of moulded vegetable tanned leather, black with black leather bow as decoration on front. Fastened with adjustable metal buckles at the back. Natural skin lining. Corset belt is moulded with two layers of leather skin. Hand made with high quality vegetable tanned leather which is free from chemicals and chrome. The piece is hand crafted using traditional leather working techniques, moulding the hide to a cast so that it takes-up the shape of the body without the need for seems. This method of construction produces a corset that hugs and subtly accentuates the wearer’s figure. I would like to keep this very old technique alive by using contemporary designs with moulding. This is a very hands on method using vegetable tanned leather which is chemical and metal free. It is soaked in water which makes hide soft. To achieve the shape of the design it is sculpted onto to a cast by hand. Once dry it will take up the desired shape and will remain like it. Very structured in its form, it is shaped deliberately to highlight the natural curve of the waistline. Measuring 13cm in height. Please make sure you measure your waist before you order product.
